Today I made a really great beer bread! I used self rising flour, honey, and Alaskan smoked porter. That's it. Poured the mixture into a pan, brushed the top with butter, and baked it for an hour. Came out fantastic.
I also prepared a batch of traditional bavarian obatzda, but intstead of using a dark german beer, I used the rest of the smoked porter. Should be well melded by tomorrow. Can't wait.
